From gaining weight to lifting weights...kind of

Rosalie is getting stronger everyday day... She had physical therapy yesterday and we have been doing some exercises the PT taught us.  She is able to pick up her head on her own a little bit, it is so exciting to see.  In fact, here she is flexing her muscles lol. It just makes my heart melt, ahhhh, I just love her...
"Grrrrr"

I'm trying to get stronger too, I recently started to run and do some exercises every other day for 30 to 45 minutes.  I jog/walk about 2 miles and do some exercises along the route.  Here are some pics I took while I worked out today:
I'm excited because I went from not being able to run at all to running half a mile without stopping. I'm amazed how quickly my body improved, it motivates me to see improvements so fast.  I hope I keep at it, my biggest enemy when working out is consistency. Hope everyone has a nice weekend...

  2. Maria,
I am reading over your blog with tears in my eyes! Still not sure how you found my blog but once you contacted me back in November I have not stopped praying for you. I checked your blog everyday for weeks to hear everything. I have even met Julie (your hospice nurse) before I lost my Ruby and I heard through the grapevine that your baby was alive and well! I am praising God to watch you hold your sweet beautiful baby girl. It brings my heart such joy to see you be able to experience life with her and treasure every moment. Rosalie and your awesome family will be in my prayers and I would love nothing more then to share your story on my blog, with your permission of course. I pray blessings upon you and may the Creator of Heaven and Earth, who knit your Rosalie together, reveal Himself to you everyday through His creation! PLease let me know if you need anything. Although our stories may seem different up to this point, sometimes its nice to talk to someone who understands and "gets it".
    Love

    1. Hi Cristin,
I'm so glad to hear from you! Thank you for the nice message, believe it or not you are on my mind a lot... I hope you are your family are well. We are enjoying Rosalie as much as we can, while we can, and it's been a wonderful experience so far. I'm so thankful that we connected, you are an amazing, strong person and have been my biggest support through this journey because of exactly that-you get it. You may share my blog (especially since you are the one who inspired me to start one!) Take care, lots of hugs for you and your family.
